I went to Plano East Senior High school.

In high school I was on the school swim team.

I came to UT for its infamous CS program.

In high school, I took a CS course and I really enjoyed programming and coding logic.

Why are you in this class?

I took a course with Prof. Downing last semester, and I really enjoyed the way he conducts his course, so I wanted to take another course with him this semester.

What are your expectations of this class?

I want to become extremely familiar with concepts of object oriented programming. I also think this class will help me with technical interviews.

How much C++ do you already know?

I don’t know any C++.

How did you like the two lectures?

I enjoyed the two lectures, they were essentially the same as the first two lectures from SWE.

How did you feel about the cold calling?

I like cold calling, it requires me to stay engaged in the lectures.

What made you happy this week?

Dustin Poirier won the UFC fight last night, which was fun for me since I’m not a big McGregor fan.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My pick of the week is the IDE Eclipse. I think it has a lot of cool functionality, and it is my IDE of choice.
